Villa Podere Quartarola is embraced by the Valley
of Tramazzo – a truly enchanting landscape belonging to the
Apennines of regions Tuscany and Emilia Romagna. The zone has remained
unaltered during the past century - it is part of a preserve of spectacular
natural beauty and is surrounded by 30 hectares of private farms cultivating
wine and olive trees. While taking a walk inside the estate it is
not unusual to run into deer, wild boar, hare or other wild animals.
The Villa inherits its name from the countryman tradition of Emilia
Romagna and is in fact an ancient granary (Quartarola= precisely “small
barrel”), now transformed into a country residence.
The Villa, property of the Scalini family, is constructed entirely
of stone. It has been recently restructured into two independent apartments,
both furnished in rustic style and supplied with all commodities.
Villa Podere Quartarola is equipped to offer vacations during all
periods of the year and able to accommodate a maximum of four persons
per apartment.
Villa Podere Quartarola is the ideal place for those who desire to
pass moments of relaxation in the absolute calm: three kilometers
of “dug up” road separate it, in fact, of the main access
road.
However Villa Podere Quartarola is nevertheless well-situated and
offers one to reach easily the most beautiful cities of art in Tuscany
and Emilia Romagna, among which Florence
(100 km), Ravenna (80 km), Bologna
(70 km), Faenza (20 km) and the ancient medieval
villages of Brisighella and Modigliana
(10 km).
